Dr Glen Stasiuk is an award-winning filmmaker, lecturer & senior Indigenous researcher at Murdoch University and a maternal descendant of the Minang-Wadjari Nyungars (Aboriginal peoples) of the South-West of Western Australia. Glen’s documentary The Forgotten & Wadjemup: Black Prison – was voted Best Documentary at the 2003 WA Screen Awards, and the more recent documentary Survivors of Wadjemup has won over 13 national and international film awards.
Dr Damian Fasolo is a lecturer and researcher in the Screen Production programme at Murdoch University and a multi-award-winning cinematographer and filmmaker. His short film work has earned him numerous awards, including 4 ACS Awards and 4 WASA nominations. He has worked on numerous music videos, TVCs, documentaries and television productions for clients including BBC UK, BBC Australia, Seven Perth, ABC, FFC, Invasion Films, Market United, Sonshine, Black Russian Productions, Ribosome, the Dirty Secrets, the Fergusons, McDonalds, the Cancer Foundation and Homestart.
