The Desert Scorpion Squad and The Sandhawk Clan are both international charity organisations comprised of Star Wars costume enthusiast. The groups raise money for charity as well as visit children in costume at the hospital. I spoke with Desert Scorpion Squad chapter leader Liz and The Sandhawk Clan leader Shawn about the work they do ahead of this year’s May The Fourth celebrations.
