You are invited to SOLAR – Murdoch Open Showcase 2018. Get ready to board Murdoch’s South Street Campus on December 5 and embark on a journey of creative discovery!

Murdoch School of Art students will be your guides as they exhibit creative work for 2018. Sound and radio recordings, graphic design work, photography, concept art, gaming, live theatre, poetry, and film are among the various art forms you will visit on the night. The evening will also play host to the annual MESH at Murdoch Awards where one talented WA high school student will take out the competitions grand prize – The Golden MESH Award.

Schedule of Events:
5.30pm – 5.00pm: Exhibition opens with musical entertainment, complimentary finger food and refreshments.
6.00pm – 7.00pm: Official welcome and the MESH at Murdoch Awards Ceremony & Murdoch student prizes
7.00pm – 8.00pm: Exhibition Continues with live theatre performances
8.00pm – 9.00pm: Film screenings

Students, friends and family, industry professionals and the general public are invited to discover the evolution of creativity, originality and talent of our Murdoch Arts students as we celebrate their transition into the next phase of professional creative practice.
