The Creative Media Showcase for 2023 celebrates dynamic kinetic energy, movement and change and represents creative student experiences and perspectives at Murdoch University.
Kinetica encapsulates the aura of energy, movement and change of our students over the course of their creative degrees as they learn and grow as people. Each student brings their own individual energy when they study on our campus. When brought together amongst our collaborative student body, it creates a powerful and creative kinetic force.

2021’s Spectra Showcase
Spectra is reflective of our shared experience of study here at Murdoch University.
As students, we entered this phase of our life as one beam, one person, one expression and one identity. Whilst we were here, we encountered reactional growth, continuous transformation and enriching collaboration with others. We exit empowered with a spectrum of creative life and industry skills from when we first began.
2020’s Futurism Showcase
2020 has presented many challenges however our students have looked towards the future with a sense optimism. Immerse yourself in their creative works including short films, photographic works, written pieces, video games, theatre performances, publications, app and web designs, strategic communication campaigns and so much more.
2019’s What’s In Store Showcase
Enjoy a diverse range of creative exhibits including short films, photographic works, 3D and 2D games, sound experiences, live theatre, publications, web and app designs, strategic communication campaigns, service design projects and written works. The evening will also play host to the annual Mesh Awards where a selection of students are awarded for their outstanding academic achievements.
2018’s Solar Showcase
Murdoch School of Art students will be your guides as they exhibit creative work for 2018. Sound and radio recordings, graphic design work, photography, concept art, gaming, live theatre, poetry, and film are among the various art forms you will visit on the night. The evening will also play host to the annual MESH at Murdoch Awards where one talented WA high school student will take out the competitions grand prize – The Golden MESH Award.
