MESH provides a collaborative space for students from across the creative arts and communication disciplines at Murdoch University to showcase their work and develop real consulting experience.

Originally established as a Media Showcase, MESH was a site where the best student work from across the School of Media and Communication at Murdoch University could be displayed. Since its inception, MESH has been handled by different staff and taken on a number of forms to get to where it is today.

While firmly keeping its roots as a Media Showcase, MESH is now also a fully functioning ‘student consultancy’ that sees students work collaboratively on projects for real clients. This opportunity not only gives organisations access to creative student-led thinking, but it also provides invaluable experience for Murdoch University students to develop their knowledge and skills by working on real projects that address the needs of real clients.

The Student Experience

As a student, MESH aims to provide you with an immersive and engaging learning experience. Across your degree, you will have the opportunity to act as a MESH consultant and deal with a diverse range of real clients with real needs. You could find yourself working collaboratively with a group of students to develop unique communications solutions for a local not-for-profit, or perhaps a more independent and long term project through undertaking a professional placement. Whatever the case, MESH gives you the opportunity to take the lead and develop real skills.
